July 2021 Mini-Newsletter

From today, Monday 19th July, Clubs are not required to enforce any COVID restrictions by law. Wearing of face coverings indoors and signing in with the NHS Covid App is a matter of personal choice. Please respect people's personal choice over social distancing and their own well-being.

Some dates for your diary:

During the morning of Saturday 24th July we take on Letchworth Garden City in the semi-finals of the Stevenage & District Knockout Competition (2x3 home; 2x3 away).

We host the annual NHWBA v L&D Match on Tuesday 3rd August, 2.30pm start. Help with catering on the day would be appreciated - if you are able to assist please let me know.

Semi-finals of the Club Triples Competition are on Sunday 15th August, and it is hoped to follow this with a barbecue - details to follow.

A gentle reminder that we are a bit behind with some club competitions. Jeff has asked that these are played ASAP.

Our First Committee Meeting since March 2020 is scheduled for Monday 9th August. If there is anything you would like raised for discussion at the meeting, please let me have details by the end of July.

Finally, we are still looking for someone to do teas for our friendly match on Tuesday 27th July.
