Welcome to the final newsletter of 2019.
Firstly, Barbara King would like to thank everyone for the cards and kind messages of support. We wish Barbara a speedy recovery.
It was another good season on the green, we won the SML Knockout Competition for the third time in four years and came second in the SML.
MACMILLAN COFFEE MORNING
The coffee morning raised £570.
Thank you to everyone who contributed, attended or helped out with this very worthy cause.
QUIZ NIGHT
Thanks to Tony & Katherine for running last month's very successful Quiz night.
The evening, along with bar sales and raffle, raised much needed funds for the club.
PRESENTATION EVENING
Thank you to everyone involved in making the evening at the club house a great success.

CLUB HOUSE WATER SUPPLY
As a winter precaution, the water supply has been turned off (it will be turned back on for the Pre-Christmas gathering).
Please bear this in mind if visiting the club house in winter.

CLUB COMPETITIONS
It was agreed at the AGM that the following changes will take effect next season. Players will be seeded in Pairs and Triples competitions to make it fairer for novice players, thereby avoiding the situation for example of three novices being drawn against three experienced players. Pairs competitions will be reduced from 21 to 18 ends.
AWAY DAYS NEXT YEAR
Colin Childs is arranging an away day by coach to Cromer in May and
Muriel is setting up another visit to Swaffham in August.
Lists will go up in the club house when dates are confirmed.
