THE ST IPPOLYTS BOWLER

Overall it has been a very good season.

Following our recent success in the Stevenage & District Knockout Competition, we finished runners up in the league on 98 points; Letchworth GC have been declared title winners with 103 points and still have a game to play.

We await the final placings in the North Herts Ladies League, the latest table, issued 19th August, showed us top of the table.

PRESIDENTS V CAPTAINS SUNDAY 22nd SEPTEMBER

This will start at 2.30pm, dress code is greys. We shall be holding a “Spider” with proceeds going to MacMillan.

The Turfcare Hamper is being raffled on this day, if you haven't bought a ticket please see Betty.

MACMILLAN COFFEE MORNING – FRIDAY 27th SEPTEMBER

Barbara would appreciate donations of cakes and items for the tombola for this very worthy cause, these should be left at the Clubhouse the day before.

PRESENTATION EVENING - SATURDAY 9th NOVEMBER

This year our Presentation Evening is to be held at the Clubhouse.

Cost per head is expected to be in the region of £15 to £20, and this will cover all food, drinks from the bar and wine on the table.

In order to gauge food requirements, we will need to know by no later than 27th September how many people wish to attend.

A list is posted in the Clubhouse for you to add your name, plus any guests, and any dietary requirements. Alternatively, you can let Brian Butcher know and he will ensure the list is updated accordingly.

Payment in full will be required in advance - further details to follow.
